Awesome timing!

The Lord has the best timing in the world! This past Sunday was just awesome! Pastor Skelly brought a message about going through tough times and hard situatrions! It was great! And it spoke to my heart so much! He was talking about Abraham when God told him to take Isaac and sacrifice him! Here is his sermon outline (well what i took down)

Genesis 22:1-14
I. The Test Abraham facedwas..
A. Intellectual - God knows better!
B. Intentions - Are we willing to?
C. Intimate - Isaac was his only son but Abraham knew that Isaac was Gods before he was his.
II. The Timing - God's timing is always perfect!
A. Not Delay - Abraham got up early and started his journey
-to delay is to disobey!
B. Not Detered - the whys get answered by the whats! Walk in Obedience
C. Not Distracted - Gods timing is impeccable
III. The Trust - Abraham trusted in..
A. The Word of God
B. The Worship of God
C. The Ways of God

What is our reaction going to be when God puts a test before us? Will we be like Abraham?

(I'm sorry if this seems all jumbled but its the best way i can say all this)

For the whole summer, i have been struggling with alot of things....and i haven't known what to do! And during this time i was just a big fake...i was talking the talk but i wasn't really walking the walk. In the past few weeks God has brought situation upon situation into my life and i haven't understood why until now! Let me explain please!

Somewhere, somehow i lost the joy God had given me and i just was living to live...for myself i guess you could say...i wasn't living for the purpose God put me on this earth to do! And that is to magnify, glorify, and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and show him to others! I have found myself saying things that i have heard my whole life growing up in the ministry but not truly meaning them....

Tonight God really got ahold of me! And i mean REALLY!

I realized that i have been placing my trust in myself and people around me not God where it should be! and that i was planning my future without God, oh i told people that this was Gods will for my life but i never prayed asking God what His plans where for me!

The summer has come and gone and i feel like i have wasted it...I have a little under 4 weeks to be the Christian and witness God wants me to be, the daughter i should be, and the friend i need to be! And i pray to God that he will use me in the place i work, my church, and anywhere i else He will send me in these 4 weeks! And i ask you all to pray for me and to keep me accountable!

Please forgive me for the fake i have been! And help me be the Christian i NEED to be!

Tonight i read - Joel 1-3 and Titus 1-3 - Here is what the Lord gave me! Its amazingly awesome! All i can say is, God works in ways we don't understand but HE does!

Joel 1:12 - "The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, [even] all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men." - Have you lost your Joy?? Has Joy withered away?

Joel 3:10 - "...let the weak say, I am strong." - With God guiding us...We are strong -- Strong in HIM and HIM ALONE not ourselves!

Titus 1:13 - "...that they may be sound in the faith" - Are you sound in the faith?

Titus 2:13 - "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" - We need to be looking for that hope! And always be looking for Christ to return! It may be today - Praise the Lord!

Titus 3:5 - "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" - Its not through us! Its God! It is truly and utterly ALL GOD! We are just vessels through which he can flow! Are you and I a vessel worthy of that honor?

Thank you all for looking and reading this! Please don't think this is just a joke, i would never joke about something like this! But i felt i had to tell you all this....and this was the easiest mass communication i could think of!

A Weekend with my Best Friend and the Zoo! :-)

The weekend was awesome! I went out to eat with my Grandma Saturday afternoon at Bravo! then we went straight to my best friends house to pick her up! We then spent the evening playing with my neices and nephews, going to Giant Eagle to get cookie dough(just to eat plain), going to Kings for Ice Cream, then playing games all night and watching movies with my sister! It was GREAT! Then Sunday after church we headed to the zoo (me, natalie, gram h, justin, and mom)! We all had tons of fun! Justin kept saying "more oma more!" it was so cute! the one thing i regret is that Natalie and i didn't get any picture taken together....but its ok..we will...lol Enjoy the picture from the zoo!

My Weekend at HOME!!!

It was so awesome to be able to go home for a weekend! To celebrate the birth of our nation but also two other VERY special occasions! My mommy's birthday (July 5th) and my mommy and daddy's anniversary(July 7th)! It was a great weekend! I left work and headed straight for home on the 3rd and got to spend some time with my sister and her family before mom got home!
Friday (4th) we went to Jim and Christa's house to have a picnic! It was awesome.....even though Cory and Randy threw me in the pool....i will get you back some day guys...anywayz....it as awesome! We TRIED to teach my neice how to jump on a trampline....like falling on your knees and getting up or letting someone bounce you so you can stand up...oh well she's 5 she has plenty of time to learn....lol

Saturday (5th) Mama had to work.....so we devised a plan...lol....my sister and her family and i went to Wal-Mart and got some cards and candy and stuff for mom's birthday....well we then decided to show up at the hospital where she works to give it to her...so we surprised her and had some fun! She loved it... Then we went to Cory and Ashlee's to watch the UFC fight...thingie...whatever it was...lol....but it was fun! It was great to get to spend some time with friends who i never get to see!
Sunday, we went to church and thats about it.... And then Monday it was back to Pittsburgh to go to work by 3 o'clock...And you wanna know something....i was stupid and forgot my camera....oppps...but i have some from my phone....so enjoy these ones...

This sunday.....IM GOING TO THE ZOO!!!!! after church of course.....my mom and youngest nephew are coming out Saturday night and im picking up my best friend! WE will got to our church's early service (9:30) and then head off to the zoo after then will be back by 6:00 for night church! Its gunna be awesome...and very tiring....LOL!For those of you that don't know....i chopped my hair off!!!! Don't ask questions...it was an accident!
